More than any other genre of vintage posters, circus posters have the longest continuous history as well as being the most colorful. Their bold designs, fantastic scenes and verbose hyperbole make them a natural conversation piece and focal point of any room.
Coinciding with the last ever performance of the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus on May 21st, these posters document a tradition of inspiring awe and wonder that connected parent to child and generation to generation.
